08/31/05 — Chapin Information Services (CIS) will begin its 2005 catastrophe operations today in response to the property loss caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Catastrophe services are available immediately from the CIS Catastrophe Operations Center in Jackson, Michigan. This location is staffing claims processors now for early turnarounds.

While the CIS catastrophe hotline is being installed, insurance carriers, CIS clients, and employees should coordinate by calling the temporary voicemail at (517) 782-5253.
